At this centre we provide the following facilities to make the centre accessible to everyone:
Car Park
- Parking is free for all users.

The booking and memberships system used on this website is a third-party application supplied by Legend and is used to support bookings and memberships at SpArC Bishops Castle. This accessibility statement outlines how accessible this application is and what measures are being taken to improve its accessibility status.
Conformance status
The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) defines requirements for designers and developers to improve accessibility for people with disabilities. It defines three levels of conformance: Level A, Level AA, and Level AAA - this application is partially conformant with WCAG 2.1 Level AA. Partially conformant means that some parts of the content do not fully conform to the accessibility standard.
We know some parts of this application are not fully accessible:
- issues with some form elements including duplicate ID's, missing or duplicate control labels
- missing alt text
- nested tables which some screen readers may find difficult to read
- issues when trying to navigate using a keyboard
- duplicate page titles on different pages
- missing site map
- low contrast of some text and buttons
We will continue to work with our third party supplier, Legend, to improve accessibility across their application inline with WCAG guidelines. This work is being carried out throughout 2021.
