Blue Flume Closure:

Our blue flume is closed for scheduled maintenance. Our phones are currently not working but our centre and other facilities are open as usual. We’re working hard to ensure everything is in top shape, and we’ll keep you updated on when it will be back open. Thank you for your patience and understanding.

Pool Closure:

As part of the ongoing investment in the facilities, we are preparing to upgrade the moveable floor in the swimming pool. Unfortunately, this vital work means our pool will temporarily close from Monday 4 November until the New Year.

Protein Pancakes Recipe

Feb 01, 2024 | Blog
We’ve got a scrumptious Protein Pancakes recipe for you — perfect for breakfast, a post workout snack or to enjoy on pancake day! This recipe has a massive 30g of protein per portion, helping you to stay fuller for longer. Serve with blueberries and sugar-free syrup for a healthier alternative to honey or maple syrup.

Serves 2

  • 2 large Eggs
  • 120g full fat Greek Yogurt
  • 2 scoops of vanilla Protein Powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking Powder
  • Cooking spray for greasing the pan
  • Handful of Blueberries
  • Drizzle of sugar-free Syrup

Step 1
In a large bowl add the eggs, protein powder, yogurt and baking powder and mix until combined.

Step 2
Next, heat a frying pan with the cooking spray. Once the pan is hot, pour in rounds of the batter, approximately 8cm wide. Try not to put the pancakes too close together as they will spread during cooking.

Cook the pancakes on one side for about 1-2 mins or until lots of tiny bubbles form and pop on the surface. Turn the pancakes over and cook for a further minute on the other side. Repeat until all the batter is used up.

Step 3
To serve, stack the pancakes on a plate and top with a scattering of blueberries and a drizzle of the sugar-free syrup!
